The Tradiva Review deals with an offshore scam broker with no valid trading license. You must not trust Tradiva with your funds.
In this review, we’ve analyzed the key aspects of trading that this broker offers. Please read about Tradiva’s shady legal background, trading software, areas of activity, funding methods, etc.
We’ll spare you from having to investigate Tradiva’s regulation. There are several claims on the broker’s website – the jurisdiction of Ireland in the T&C, the Marshall Islands, and British and Russian phone numbers.
However, the company behind this broker, Prometheus LTD, is actually based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), a notorious offshore scam haven. Tradiva lied about its jurisdiction just like Alti Trading.
SVG’s regulator, the Financial Services Authority, does regulate the trading sector, only banking. So not Forex trading licenses. Tradiva is basically unregulated and a danger for all.
Instead of risking getting scammed by Tradiva, you better find a reliable and licensed broker. Our suggestion is any provider that operates under the jurisdiction of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
Tradiva is not ESMA-compliant! Renowned financial market authorities under ESMA include the CNMV, BaFin, CONSOB, FINMA, CySEC, etc. If you’re from the US, you’re broker has to be registered with the CFTC and the NFA.
We did some research to find out where this financial swindler was active. Here’s a list of countries where Tradiva left traces:
As mentioned, Tradiva doesn’t comply with ESMA’s regulation and four entries on this list implement the great European regulator’s requirements. A fraudulent entity such as Tradiva could never obtain a trading license in the US.
According to Tradiva’s website as well as other sources, there are two available trading platforms. The first is the renowned MetaTrader 4 while the second is a browser-based platform, simply called WebTrader.
MT4 is a world-class trading software. It offers cutting-edge tools such as automated trading, instant execution, multiple timeframes, live market reports, a customizable user-friendly interface, advanced charting, etc.
Allegedly, users can download MT4 for desktop (Windows & MAC) and mobile (Android & iOS). Don’t forget about Tradiva’s unregulated status. There are plenty of legitimate brokers that also offer MT4 but are licensed.
As for the latter platform, WebTrader, it is very limited in features. Users have access to just some basic charts, indicators and graphs. WebTrader is not up to par with MT4.
Tradiva didn’t include any social media on its website. Nevertheless, the broker posted two phone numbers and two emails, which can also be used to contact traders and persuade them to invest in this scheme.
Similar scammers also use private WhatsApp & Telegram chats to find potential clients. Dating apps such as Tinder and Bumble are full of them as well. Another guess would be that Tradiva buys Google ads or hires agents to run bogus marketing campaigns.
The broker’s website has screenshots plastered over certain texts, which implies that Tradiva probably copied the entire website, just like Deluxe Royals did. Birds of a feather…
There’s very scarce info about this topic on Tradiva’s website. Unlike the scammer Roi Republic, Tradiva doesn’t offer crypto trading. We know for sure that the broker offers instruments of the following asset classes:
Tradiva was not transparent regarding the trading costs. We had to dig up information about the broker’s spreads elsewhere.
It seems that Tradiva’s spread for EUR/USD is floating around 0.8 pips. That’s very nice but the commissions haven’t been disclosed and for all we know, Tradiva may charge high commissions.
When it comes to trading accounts, Tradiva offers four different types:
A minimum deposit of 250 $ is nothing unusual but we still wouldn’t risk it with an offshore scammer like Tradiva. The max leverage this broker offers is 1:200, well above ESMA’s regulatory limit of 1:30.
Extremely high leverage levels are risky and oftentimes lead to devastating losses, hence why the regulators imposed a legal cap.
Not at all. Tradiva didn’t include a free demo account. This way, you’re not allowed to see what the broker’s trading platform and conditions are like unless you invest real money.
As soon as you invest your hard-earned funds, you’re at risk of getting scammed by this unregulated broker. Any reliable broker will offer you a free demo account to try things out.
Tradiva included a range of acceptable payment methods:
The minimum deposit is 250 $. Tradiva’s withdrawal policy says that If a trader is inactive for 90 days or more, Tradiva will charge an “account maintenance fee of 5% of the account balance for each calendar month.” The minimum withdrawal amount is 50 $ but there’s a catch.
Tradiva awards bonuses but doesn’t allow traders to withdraw funds until they reach an insane trading volume using the bonus.
The broker’s website gave an example – “When receiving a bonus up to $ 10,000, the amount of trade must reach $ 10,000,000 per every 1000 $ of the received bonus means.”
