InvestEFT Review: Offering Lucrative Yet Suspicious Conditions

by admin

InvestEFT is telling a pretty misleading story about the company’s background. A “South African leader” that also claims to have an office in Switzerland?

We decided to investigate this suspicious platform in our InvestEFT Review and came to some shocking findings. Keep reading to learn more about the broker’s legal background, trader reviews, trading platform, leverage,  conditions, payment methods, etc.

The most important part of a broker’s legal background is the trading license. Since investeft was not kind enough to reveal details about the company behind the platform, we had to do some research.

The website left an address –  8005 Zurich, Förrlibuckstrasse, Switzerland, so that was our starting point. Switzerland is known for being one of the world’s financial hubs so it therefore boasts strict financial market laws and unwavering regulations under the watchful eye of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA.

I trusted investeft. Get it on facebook. Say you must put in a amount, after a while about 2 weeks they say you must get some more money to make more money. You can go and borrow money (like the market everything goes down)at the bank or friends… They took all my money. The market never it wents wrong, it was them… THIS IS THE MOST BEST SCAMMING TRADING OF THE PLATFORM YOU EVER CAN GET!!!!

InvestEFT is not a licensed Forex trading broker but the website advertises lucrative trading conditions and a perfectly legit and reliable trading platform. InvestEFT is basically illicitly offering trading services without a regulator overseeing the broker’s business.

It gives the scammer room to try to manipulate clients, get them to borrow money, take a loan from a bank, and spend their savings on some hoax trading signals. By the time the latter realizes that something fishy is going on, it is probably too late, i.e. the investeft withdraw option won’t work, the funds are gone and can only be retrieved with professional help.

The percentages in the brackets indicate the share of traders from the given country in the total number of InvestEFT’s clients. As you can see, the vast majority live in South Africa, not surprising considering that InvestEFT advertises itself as a South African broker.

In the Account Type section on the website, InvestEFT mentions MetaTrader 5, the best trading software in the industry. MT5 is famous for its cutting-edge tools, advanced charting, lightning-fast execution, etc. In other words, every trader’s dream.

However, it wasn’t possible to check whether InvestEFT actually offers a legit version of MT5.  We couldn’t successfully register with InvestEFT as the registration process requires a promo code, which we didn’t have. Our assumption is that the scammer sends this code only to traders marked as targets.

According to InvestEFT’s website, the platform offers a wide range of popular trading instruments:

Let’s make an overview of InvestEFT’s account types:

These prices are actually the minimum deposit requirements. So basically InvestEFT demands at least 1,000 USD to get you started with the weakest account tier.

There are many legit and licensed brokers that will charge much less money and offer pretty much the same trading conditions (spreads, fees, etc.). Hence, there is no point in trusting an unregulated and blacklisted broker with your funds.

InvestEFT does not offer a risk-free demo account. This is typical of scam brokers. They do not allow traders to try out the platform for a free trial period and instead encourage them to create a live account straight away.

InvestEFT offers clients maximum leverage of 1:500 for Forex trading. Extremely high leverage is a double-edged sword that can tilt toward big profits but more often results in huge losses. For comparison, the legal leverage cap for retail clients in Europe is 1:30 and in North America 1:50.

As for the spreads and investeft fees, the unscrupulous broker promises super-tight spreads as low as 0.1 pip for Forex trading with zero commissions. That sounds pretty tempting but still cannot make up for the fact that InvestEFT is unregulated.

InvestEFT also offers a download link for ScreenLeap. This program is a fast and free way to share your PC screen, primarily designed for online meetings, sales demos, and collaboration.

However, it can be used for crooked purposes as well. The scammer disguised it as the investeft support system. If you allow InvestEFT access to your PC where you keep personal and finance-related information, things could get pretty ugly so don’t do it.

InvestEFT listed three available funding options:

The minimum deposit is 1,000 USD and it is free of fees, allegedly. The minimum withdrawal amount was not specified. Withdrawal fees are unknown as well. Judging by the review we found, InvestEFT will withhold your funds and refuse to perform your withdrawal request.

To recap, InvestEFT is a fraudulent platform that offers services mainly to traders from South Africa, the UK, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands. If you’re experiencing issues with the InvestEFT payout process, you can book a free consultation with Global Fraud Protection.
